Product provided by Influenster for testing
Good morning, dear readers! Today I just have a quick post to share swatches of the Sally Hansen TripleShine nail polish in Dream Sequins that was in my Influenster Violet Vox Box. It is a lovely copper glitter, but it isn't really dense enough for complete nail coverage on its own. While I was trying to decide what undies to put with it, I suddenly remembered the coppery sparkles of the manmade material Goldstone and used that as inspiration for my manicure. If you're not familiar with this stone, this is what it looks like:
(Thank you, Wikipedia! Mine seems to have walked off.)
To get the look, I started off with two coats of Zoya Colette, and I followed up with two thin coats of Dream Sequins. I then added a coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl top coat to smooth it out.
Other than the fact that I have shorter nubbins than I'm used to, I'm really happy with my manicure. The Sally Hansen polish has a wide brush that made application very quick, and the glitters dispersed nicely over my nails. Sally Hansen is arguably my favorite drug store brand of polish, and the new TripleShine line did not disappoint. This 10mL bottle retails for $4.99; I know I want to pick up a few more colours to try!
Have you tried the TripleShine line yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
Until next time, have a wonderful day!
