Good morning, dear readers! This week feels like it has been flying by! For today's blog post, I wanted to share eight of the new Colors by Llarowe polishes found in the Fall 2014 collection that launches Friday at Llarowe.com. I hope you are ready because this is a picture-heavy post! Let's do this!
Deep eggplant intense linear holo
What could be more appropriate than to start the photo spam with a polish named Mercy! Wow! Leah Ann isn't taking mercy on our wallets, that much is sure! The formula was easy to work with and I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.
Smokey Mountain Memories
Bright royal blue scattered to linear holo
I don't know why I don't wear blue polishes more often because this is gorgeous! I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.
Clear jelly base with gold and silver flakes with rose, red and copper shimmer
This is so densely packed with shimmers and flakes that I originally thought the base shade was brown! I used three coats plus top coat to give a smoother finish.
Seasons of Change
Deep smokey gunmetal green intense linear holo
Seasons of Change is a really interesting smoky shade, and I found it to look more of a gunmetal blue than a gunmetal green on my skin tone. It applied nicely for me, and I used two coats plus top coat or these photos.
Penny For Your Thoughts
Rusty copper glowing holo with yellow and orange flame
Penny For Your Thoughts is such a stunning shade, it is bound to win over anyone that uses it! The orange and yellow flame is amazing, and I would love to see Leah Ann create more shades with this feature. One thing to note about Penny For Your Thoughts is is can cause a little bit of staining. The staining wasn't terrible, and it came off easily with a paste made of lemon juice and baking powder. Also, be careful with removal as it can stain your skin slightly. I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.
Silvered celery green holo with golden shimmer
I am a military brat, so of course I recognized the Marine Corps cry Oorah! instantly. It is so fitting for the branch and oh-so-pretty! The formula of Oorah! was a little thicker than the others I swatched, but it still applied pretty easily. I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.
Sandy, We're Not in Kansas Anymore
Bright turquoise to royal blue to purple multi chrome holo
Photographing Sandy, We're Not in Kansas Anymore was really difficult, and I just could not capture the purple shift to save my life! While these photos are showing a lot of blue, my nails were actually predominantly more the tealish shade from in the bottom photo. I love multi chrome polishes, so you know I love this one! I used two coats plus top coat in these photos.
Deep chocolate brown to black to magenta multi chrome with intense magenta red and copper shimmer
Woohoo, another multi chrome polish! Burnings Embers has an amazing depth that is just perfect for the fall season! I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.
I really enjoy the assortment of finishes within the Fall collection! Even with just the partial collection I am showing today, there is something that can appeal to a range of different tastes!
The Colors by Llarowe Fall Collection is scheduled to launch this Friday, October 10th. Rather than a normal stock, Leah Ann and Llarowe.com will be making these and the remaining shades in the collection available as a preorder. The preorder will last from 12pm MDT until 8pm MDT. You can also follow Llarowe on Facebook for additional details about this preorder.
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
