Girly Bits Cosmetics and Blogger Anniversary Celebration Polishes

Press Sample

Good morning, dear readers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My schedule is completely thrown off right now with my MIL visiting to help my husband and I make finishing touches on our new house before we move in, so they normal time I get for blog activities on the weekend did not happen. I promise I do have a giveaway coming soon! I hoped to have it up by yesterday, but that obviously didn't happen. It will be up this week though!

In my previous post, I shared Girly Bits Cosmetics Let's Do This!, an orange under-holographic polish created in collaboration between Pam and myself to celebrate my blog turning three. For today's post, I have two other shades that were created with other bloggers to celebrate their blogiversaries. Let's check them out!

Snafu
Snafu is an ivory linear holographic with a soft subtle golden shimmer and is sparked with fleck of teal and iridescent turquoise.

Snafu was created to celebrate Nicole's blog also turning three this past November. The golden shimmer added to the base makes the overall shade look more of a light nude, especially against my tanned olive skin. It's a gorgeous neutral shade! The formula was smooth, and I used three easy coats plus top coat for these photos. Two coats would have been sufficient if I didn't have a little bit of visible nail line on one of my nails, but that's do to operator error (that's me) and not the polish itself.

Winter Sanctuary
Winter Sanctuary is a medium to dark cobalt blue with a hint of purple with a scattering of holo within it.

Winter Sanctuary was created in collaboration with Lisa of Cosmetic Sanctuary to celebrate her 3 year blog birthday in December. This vibrant blue screams winter, and I adore the depth of this colour! The formula was flawless, and I used two easy coats plus top coat for these photos.

Let's Do This!
by The Jedi Wife (That's me!)
Let's Do This! is an ever-so-slight dusty orange subtle under-holo with micro red glitters, micro purple flakies, gold flakies, and red-yellow flakes.

I know, I know, I already shared this on Saturday, but I couldn't resist sharing it again to make this post on the blogger trio complete. ;) My full review is on my previous post if you want to check it out; again, I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.

Each of these polishes will be available for purchase from the Girly Bits Cosmetics website starting on February 16th. Each shade will retail for $13 CAD, which is approximately $10.50 USD with the current exchange rate. The Girly Bits website is set up to pick up the IP address of the viewer so that the prices will display in your currency.

In addition to having limited blogging time this weekend, I also lost power when I could swatch (bye bye lights!), so I have more swatches to get ready for you. I've decided to have a week of Girly Bits reveals, so expect to see even more beautiful polishes soon!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!

  5. Orange and blue! All three polishes are gorgeous. Snafu is the only one I thought wouldn't work on my skin tone - olive, like you - but I was wrong! Favourite of the three: Let's Do This! I have a soft spot for orange.
