Get Beautiful Skin with Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid

Provided by BzzAgent for Review

Good morning, dear readers, and happy Saturday! It's a rainy weekend around here, and I'm planning on staying dry by spending part of it on the couch watching the Harry Potter marathon. Sounds glamorous, right? I know I'm certainly looking forward to it! Now on to today's blog post!

I was contacted recently about a new-to-me testing and review site called BzzAgent. Members of the site can be selected to receive samples of products in exchange for an honest review and to share the buzz about the products. I opted to participate in the Paula's Choice campaign as a long-time consumer of many of Paula Begoun's skin care products.

I was sent Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid to review.
This product was already a long-time staple in my daily beauty routine, and for good reason! Daily exfoliating removes dead skin cells that cause dull flaky skin, clogged pores and blemishes. The right kind of exfoliant helps restore skin’s balance by reversing clogged pores, stopping breakouts, smoothing wrinkles and even eliminating dry skin. Here's the catch: not all exfoliants are created equally, and many on the market are actually either bad for your skin or are not formulated properly. Mechanical exfoliants usually contain harsh ingredients that cause micro-tears in your skin. I prefer chemical exfoliants for that reason; these include alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHA). In order to work properly to clear your skin and penetrate your pores, BHA solutions need to be at a specific pH. Most on the market are not at the correct pH, but Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid is formulated correctly.

I would love to be able to share a before and after photo, but I have already been using this product for as long as I can remember. It keeps my skin looking radiant and I have very few breakouts. My skin is smooth and soft, and I'm convinced it has helped to keep me looking younger than my age, at least until the kids came along! I currently use it every other day, but I was using it once daily prior to becoming pregnant. It's something you will have to test out to find the frequency that works best for you. Please note, if you have an allergy to aspirin, you should not use this product.

You can save 20% off your order and get free shipping at PaulasChoice.com with the discount code PRBHA16.

The deluxe trial size of the Skin Perfection 2% BHA Liquid is only $9, and I assure you, it is well worth it for beautiful skin! If you tend to have drier skin and your main concern is sun damaged skin, the AHA solution is probably better for you. If you have oily skin like me, check out the Skin Balancing Invisible Finish Moisture Gel as well. That is my absolute favorite moisturizer, and it is perfect for when it gets hot outside and you need something very lightweight.

Have you tried the skin care products from Paula's Choice? What are your favorites? What do you want to try?

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!

  1. I have been in search of my holy grail skin product for about three years. I have an oily t-zone, dry cheeks, and damage from the cold where I live. It's been a long road. I think I may give the AHA a try!

  8. Ive troed some Paula's Choice, but not this product. I may have to give it a try. I've been looking around for a good chemical exfoliate that's not too harsh
