Moo Moo's Signatures: Essential Shades for Spring

Press Sample

Good morning, dear readers! I hope your week has been off to a fabulous start! I have been waiting for what feels like forever to share this post so I'm just going to jump right on it. Let's do this!

I tend to share a lot of indie polish brands that are based in the United States, but the fact of the matter is, there are creative geniuses everywhere! I had the pleasure of testing out several Moo Moo's Signature polishes available at Mei Mei's Signatures once they were released from US customs limbo for several weeks. While these shades are not specifically released for this spring, they are gorgeous for the upcoming season; I guarantee you're going to want to get your hands on several of them! Let's check out these beauties!

Bunny Returns
Part of the Bunny line
A sister polish to OOAK Fluffy Bunny.
A pastel lilac holo with turquoise shimmer, tiny sterling silver flakies and pink flakies.

These photos just do not do this polish justice! My camera is able to photograph invisible dog hairs but it is not the greatest at capturing some shimmers that are screamingly obvious to the naked eye. You can see hints of the shimmer here, but trust me, it is much more apparent in real life. Not only is this beautiful, the formula was fantastic! I used two coats for these photos.
Bunny's Secret Garden
Bunny's Secret Garden is part of the Bunny line.
A light mint holo with subtle rose-orange shift and tiny pink and green flakies. The subtle shift varies depending on angle and light exposure.
I might have shrieked with delight when I discovered this shade existed. I have been wanting a mint with pink shimmer for such a long time now, and Bunny's Secret Garden is a dream come true! Again, the shimmer is much more apparent in real life, and I am convinced everyone needs this shade immediately. The colour is to die for and the formula is on point! I used two coats for these photos.
Des Roses Pour Toi
(Roses For You)
Part of Duo Paris Est Un Enchantement
(Enchanting Paris Duo)

A baby rose holo with tiny pink to turquoise flakies.
I tend to shy away from baby pinks in general, and I was surprised at how much I liked this shade. While it isn't my favorite on my skin tone, it is a lovely colour that certainly deserves some attention. Like the others in this post, the formula was perfect! I used two easy coats for these photos.

Moment Romantique
(Romantic Moment)
Part of Duo Paris Est Un Enchantement
(Enchanting Paris Duo)

A greyish champagne holo with gold shift and real silver shimmer.
Now this is my kind of grey! Grey polishes never seem to look quite right on me, but this one has just the slightest touch of sage green to it. Of course it's not as obvious against my olive skin tone, but it's there! It is a beautiful colour and perfect for those that can't wear traditional grey shades. I used two flawless coats for these photos.

Molly Moo
Inspired and named after Moo Moo Molly who is now residing with owner, Maria Metzger in Denmark with her twin moo, Sparkly.

A grey holo with sterling silver flakies, gunmetal flakies, silver ultra holo glitters and subtle pink flakies.
While greys may not love me, I certainly love them, especially when they contain flakies like Molly Moo! What sets Molly Moo apart from other shades is the delicate flashes of pink against the grey background. It is the promise of spring to come against the rainy or snowy days a lot of people are seeing right now. The formula was really nice, and I had no issue with the flakes. I did have to add a layer of top coat to get a smooth finish on my nails because of the added flakes. I used two coats plus top coat for these photos.

This was my first experience with Moo Moo's Signatures, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these polishes! Each shade is well designed and the formulas are fantastic. I certainly am a fan and will be adding more to my collection as soon as I am able!

All of these shades are available for purchase from Mei Mei's Signatures here. Please note that they are based in Singapore so it may take some time for packages to arrive because of customs, but I promise you will not be disappointed!

Have you tried Moo Moo's Signatures polishes yet? If so, what are your favorites? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!

  6. I love all of these. I have watched this brand for a long time, mostly for the name and logo, and just recently finally ordered a couple. I can't wait to try them, but they will definitely be 'on display' polishes within my collection!
